Four Seasons Firenze’s commitment to automated mowing
“I immediately saw that it was the right solution for the hotel. I didn't hesitate to adopt it, replacing the previous system. I am already considering using Kress RTKⁿ robotics in other facilities as well.”
The iconic Four Seasons Firenze in Florence, Italy, is framed by the beautiful Gherardesca Gardens, the largest in the city. To bring the most luxurious and tranquil experience to its elite clients, the Four Seasons Firenze has switched to unmanned lawn mowing many moons ago. However it is with Kress RTKⁿ autonomous mowers that they are finally happy with the transition. The implementation of five RTKⁿ robot mowers to manage the 10,000 sqm garden has proven to be a winning solution.
“I immediately saw that it was the right solution for the hotel. I didn't hesitate to adopt it, replacing the previous system. I am already considering using Kress RTKⁿ robotics in other facilities as well.”
Andrea Rocchi, the manager of Four Season Firenze’s green area remarks: “Years ago, I began the process of automating mowing in this facility, where silence and the elimination of air pollutants are essential given the type of clientele hosted. The technologies I used did help, but because they depended on a boundary wire and a random cutting system, which was very time-consuming, neither I nor the facility were satisfied. When I learned about the Kress technology, which operates without a perimeter wire, without antenna in the property, and with systematic cutting, I immediately saw that it was the right solution for me and the hotel. I didn’t hesitate to adopt it, replacing the previous system. I am already considering using Kress RTKⁿ robotics in other facilities as well.”
